Rev’d Martin Henwood DL

The Easter season, also known as Eastertide, is a period of 50 days starting with the celebration of the risen Lord on Easter Day and ending with the Day of Pentecost.  It is a time of celebration focussing on the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

On the fortieth day of Easter, the church celebrates Christ’s ascension to heaven with the Feast of the Ascension which marks the end of his earthly ministry.

Sunday 20th September will be the final service conducted by the Reverend Martin Henwood DL. Please note the later start time of 10:30 am for this week only.

Martin cellebrated 40 years of Ministry earlier this year. He was curate at Holy Trinity, Dartford from 1986 to 1989 returning in 1993 as Vicar and completing 33 years of service in June.

Our service on Sunday will be one of thanksgiving to mark Martin and his wife Caroline’s retirement. There will be a finger buffet lunch after the service.

Please join us in person or online for Martin and Carolines final service at Holy Trinity.
