Summer hair

Summer hair is all about texture and volume this year and a good thing to keep in mind when you’re on holiday. You want your hair to look effortless and easy especially when away, and the beach babe styles just that. You can easily get the summer looks for your locks with your ghd hair straightners, adding the right products will then finish it off.

As the weather is hotter your hair is more prone to damage, so remember when blow drying or styling your hair to use a thermal protector spray to prevent damage, to get the extra volume into your hair when blow-drying use a round barrelled brush and pull out from the roots.

Once you have created some volume you can now use your ghd straighteners a number of different ways to get some curls or waves into your hair, either:

Section your hair in to 4, then with the back left section take all the hair and twist it together, then run your ghd straighteners over the twisted hair and clip back up, repeat this with the other 3 sections. Once it’s cool remove the clips and shake through spritzing with ghd sea spray to give a matt texture to your hair.

Create curls with your hair by sectioning off your hair and insert your hair straightners vertically at the roots, holding the ends of the hair with your free hand. Turn the styler around 180 degrees, gently and slowly pulling it down the hair lengths until you reach the ends. Then hold the look in place with hairspray.
