Men who suffer from sexual dysfunction often find it embarrassing to discuss the problem and hope that the problem just goes away or reach for that blue pill. Viagra is the most popular treatment for sexual dysfunction and probably the most convenient as its easily available online or now from pharmacies.

However there are some supplements that may also help in combating the problem if you don’t want to resort to taking Viagra.

Ginkgo Biloba – This herb is more commonly taken as a memory booster however it has proven effective for enhancing blood flow when taken 3 times a day.

Arginine – This amino acid also enhances blood flow, a recent study suggests those with impotence improved after six weeks of taking arginine.

DHEA – This supplement is a hormone that helps our bodies make estrogen and testosterone and can help those men who have low levels of the hormone to help with impotence.

Yohimbe – This herb has been found in some studies to correct impotence however it does have more side effects than other supplements which include a dangerous rise in blood pressure, as well as anxiety.
